Madison Mostly Dance Fest ’24 – Recap

Choreography and poetry performance

The Madison Mostly Dance Festival ’24 was an 11-day event featuring dance performances, films about dance, theater about dance, music, and more! Arts Access was delighted to be included among this year’s presenters.

On Monday, April 29, the dancers and poets of Arts Access delighted the crowd at the Madison Community Arts Center with their innovative choreography and imaginative poetry. Four of the choreographers, including Ryan Danziger, Isabell Villacis, Simon Alexander, and Jasmine Oliver, performed in-person at the event.  Joined by dancers from Middlesex College Dance Ensemble, the Arts Access dancers demonstrated how every body can move and dance in their own unique way, challenge preconceived notions of what differently abled bodies can do!

This spring at the Madison Mostly Dance Fest, the Arts Access dancers proved that with the right tools and opportunities, anyone can create beautiful choreography and dance without limits!

Thank you to the Madison Arts and Cultural Alliance for organizing this exceptional event and thank you to the Aimee Mitacchione and the dancers of the Middlesex College Dance Ensemble for helping us bring to life the work of the Arts Access artists.
