Tammy Heppner’s painting, “Deers Dancing,” will be included in Move: Dance in Art I, on view at the Morris Arts Gallery in Morristown, NJ.

Move: Dance in Art I features work that incorporates various aspects of dance, and examines how the subject of dance can be intertwined in visual art of every medium. A sister exhibit, Move: Dance in Art II, will be on view at the Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown.

Both exhibits will be on view from September 28, 2022, through February 14, 2023, and coincide with The Arts & Culture Collaborative’s Dance Connections initiative, a festival of events highlighting the dance performances and dance-related work of New Jersey artists and organizations. These events will take place across Morris County from September through early 2023 and feature multiple styles of dance and a diverse group of performers. For a general event listing, visit the Dance Connections webpage here.

An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, September 28, from 6-8pm at the Morris Arts Gallery, located at 14 Maple Ave in Morristown, NJ.

Congratulations, Tammy!
