How long have you been writing?
I’ve been writing since 1990.

What do you like most about writing?
What I like most about writing is through music and playwriting, and my painting, it helps me get my feelings out besides talking about it.

Where do you find inspiration for your writing?
I love to talk about what’s bothering me, but I also like to write and I like to paint about it. I also put my feelings into my plays and my songs. So, my writing is mostly based off of my life.

How would you describe your style, as a writer?
My style as a writer goes from sad, to happy, to funny. I put all of my emotions into my plays, my songs, my paintings.

How do you feel about your writing being performed onstage?
Well, it feels great and it’s a good feeling. I’m very proud of the success that my plays have had being in the arts program.

Has your working been in Full Circle before?
Yes, it has. And it’s been a great experience and a great, great feeling.

Are you looking forward to Full Circle?
Yes, I am. This is gonna be a busy couple months for me coming up, and one of the things is I’m really looking forward to Full Circle this year. And I’ve got family coming out to see this and it’s gonna be it’s gonna be a great day! I can’t wait for it.

Anything else you’d like to say?
One day my dream is to get my stuff out there and get a royalty check! I wanna make a career out of my writing. I wanna write songs for other people to record and it would be so cool to see one of my plays be put on somewhere like the Paper Mill Playhouse or the George Street Playhouse, places like that. I don’t know what the future holds but that’s what I really, really like to do.

Paul has a message for his fans:
All I can say to my fans out there is keep your eyes keep your eyes and your ears open for the name Paul Santo! Because pretty soon I’m gonna make a name for myself!
