Luis has been an active and dedicated participant in the Arts Access Program for many years. During that time, he has created a rich and varied body of work, including traditional paintings, digital art, plays, and poetry. A romantic at heart, Luis often explores the theme of eternal love, capturing the full range of emotions that come with it.
Luis’s personality is as dynamic as his artwork, blending a playful, good-humored side with a sincere and sensitive nature. He draws on these qualities, along with his personal interests, to inform his creative practice. His paintings and digital pieces often share themes that are important to him — his love for family, baseball (especially the Yankees), patriotism, and women — yet he approaches each medium differently. His digital art frequently features soft colors, linear composition, and representational elements, while his traditional paintings are bold, abstract, and full of energy.
