Transcending Boundaries at Kean University

February 9 - May 1

Transcending Boundaries: The Artist at Work, presented by the Galleries at Kean, will feature paintings, sculptures, and poetry by the Matheny Arts Access artists. The exhibition will be on display from February 9 through May 1, 2026 in the Liberty Hall Academic Center Gallery at Kean University.

At the heart of Transcending Boundaries is the idea that art functions as a universal language, one that extends beyond speech, culture, and physical ability. The exhibition celebrates the originality, authenticity, and curiosity that define each artist’s practice.

This exhibition is part of a series of collaborations throughout 2026 between Matheny Arts Access and Kean University.
