Qing displays his preference for palette knives in all of his paintings. He has used them in some fashion on every canvas so far, but not exclusively, as he prefers to experiment with all the options and tools available to him. Qing will often employ shapes in his compositions, even creating intricate shapes of his own, before painting them freehand to give them a rough and unrefined appearance. As one of Arts Access’ newest painters, Qing will debut his work at the 12th annual NJMS Collaborative ARTS Exhibit in 2022.
