On a recent walk through the studio, we happened to glimpse this in progress painting by Andy Lash. The large canvas is full of bright and vibrant lines of color, with a light a subtle texture from the paint application. A few diagonal lines are just starting to be applied on top of the vertical ones.

Andy has been participating at Arts Access for many years. His paintings tend to feature bold geometric shapes paired with interesting textures. One of Andy’s paintings was actually featured on the very first Full Circle invitation! Circles are a recurring motif in Andy’s work, though one has yet to materialize in this latest painting. Perhaps Andy is still deciding on its placement, or perhaps he is exploring new and different compositions? Whatever the answer may be, we are eager to see how this new painting continues to develop!
