Transcending Boundaries: The Artist at Work, presented by the Galleries at Kean, will feature paintings, sculptures, and poetry by the Matheny Arts Access artists. The exhibition will be on display in the Liberty Hall Academic Center Gallery at Kean University.

At the heart of Transcending Boundaries is the idea that art functions as a universal language, one that extends beyond speech, culture, and physical ability. The exhibition celebrates the originality, authenticity, and curiosity that define each artist’s practice.

This exhibition is part of a series of collaborations throughout 2026 between Matheny Arts Access and Kean University.

An opening reception will take place on February 17, from 5-7 pm.
