SUMMARY:Opening reception for Transcending Boundaries at Kean University
DESCRIPTION:Transcending Boundaries: The Artist at Work\, presented by the Galleries at Kean\, will feature paintings\, sculptures\, and poetry by the Matheny Arts Access artists. The exhibition will be on display in the Liberty Hall Academic Center Gallery at Kean University. \nAt the heart of Transcending Boundaries is the idea that art functions as a universal language\, one that extends beyond speech\, culture\, and physical ability. The exhibition celebrates the originality\, authenticity\, and curiosity that define each artist’s practice. \nThis exhibition is part of a series of collaborations throughout 2026 between Matheny Arts Access and Kean University. \nAn opening reception will take place on February 17\, from 5-7 pm. \nView the exhibit from from February 9 through May 1\, 2026.
